A-UPRT
Since 2019, Advanced Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (A-UPRT) is mandatory for all pilots before starting the first multi-crew type rating course. During the A-UPRT course, we teach how to prevent and manage abnormal flight situations in an aerobatic airplane.
The aim of the course is to train the student pilot to understand how to cope with the physiological and psychological aspects of dynamic upsets in aeroplanes and to develop the necessary competence and resilience to be able to apply appropriate recovery techniques during upsets.
Training consists of 5 hours of classroom theory and at least 3 hours of flight training where you learn how to handle spins, stalls, g-loads, and spiral dives.
