Braathens regional airline
GFA have a strong cooperation with Braathens Regional Airline where our students have job opportunities after completing their training with us.
Braathens Regional Airlines Swedish airline operating domestically in Sweden, charter flights to the Mediterranean and wet lease operations in Europe.
Known for its punctuality and smooth flights from Bromma Airport, the company is popular with Swedish business travellers and has won several Grand Travel Awards.
Braathens has agreements with the largest charter companies in Sweden and flies their A320 charter flights to the Mediterranean.
Braathens’ fleet currently consists of AT72, A319 and A320.
Green Flight Academy is pleased to partner with an airline that has taken the lead in the green transition of aviation.
On 16 May 2019, BRA conducted the world’s first “The Perfect Flight”, the most climate-efficient flight at Bromma Airport today. The flight was on 50% SAF, fully climate-optimised and reduced fossil emissions by 46% compared to a normal flight.
On 21 June 2022 BRA and ATR conducted “Perfect Flight 2.0” with 100% SAF (Sustainable Aviation Fuel). First commercial flight in the world on 100% SAF.
Furthermore, Braathens Regional Airlines is the first commercial airline in the world that carbon offsets all their carbon dioxide emissions for all passengers, without any extra charges.
Braathens also have aggressive sustainability goal, committed to be one of the first airlines in the world to be Net Zero by 2030 on their ATR fleet.

Scandinavian Airlines
GFA and SAS have a partnership whereby students have the opportunity to undergo an assessment with the airline towards the end of their studies.
SAS has a fleet of modern and efficient airliners, ranging from the Embraer E195LR to the Airbus 319, 320neo, 330 and their widebody flagship, the A350. SAS can offer a long-term career path as a pilot within their company.
SAS has a comprehensive sustainability programme in which the goal is to reduce total CO₂ emissions by 25 percent before 2025, and that all domestic flights operated by SAS will be fossil-free by 2030. Their modern fleet consisting of brand-new aircraft consumes 15-30 percent less fuel than previous models, reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
