Flight simulator
Our Alsim ALX simulator will primarily be used for instrument training and APS-MCC (Airline Standard Multi Crew Cooperation) course. The simulator has 200 degree vision system that realistically represents terrain and airports day and night. It can be configured as a single-engine, multi-engine or jet airplane. The simulator is a generic medium jet based on A320 and we use Airbus procedures and philosophies during training.
Using a simulator greatly increases training quality for both standard and emergency procedures. With the Alsim ALX we can accurately simulate any weather condition and a full range of emergency scenarios that you cannot practise to the same extent in an aircraft.
Our simulator is located on campus in Skellefteå, where our students also study theory.
