Hydrogen is the next step!

We have a collaboration with Zeroavia, Braathens Regional Airlines, Skellefteå kraft och Skellefteå Airport to explore the possibility of operating commercial aviation in the region with ZeroAvia’s hydrogen-based powertrain. Together we aim to set up a system demonstrator at Skellefteå Airport to carry out test flights that can show the entire value chain of hydrogen-powered aviation.

This involves production of green hydrogen, distribution and handling of hydrogen at the airport, fueling of aircraft, flights to a nearby airport, provision and education of pilots and maintenance.
This is to understand possible challenges and opportunities that arise with an introduction of hydrogen powered flights.

A project that we are very proud to participate in and that will be an important and world unique project to continue the green transition in aviation.
